Cop-R-Nap^®

Green Liquid

Pentox^® Cop-R-Nap^® product is a liquid wood preservative solution containing 2% copper as copper naphthenate in petroleum solvents. Used for the treatment of dry wood and green wood. The solution is green in colour and film free. This preservative protects treated lumber continuously for the life of the wood. Life expectancy of treated wood is at least three to five times that of untreated wood. Recommended for use in green houses and wood in contact with plants; will not injure plants provided that the treated wood has thoroughly dried. Wood treated with Pentox^® Cop-R-Nap^® product imparts a green colour, that upon exposure to sun light, will lighten-up in colour intensity.

Specification: Satisfies CSA 080 P8 and P9 (4 GP 56, type II )

Uses: For all lumber, beams, foundations farm buildings,
highway guard rail posts, boat houses, etc. and any wood
in contact with ground or water. Not recommended for
rubber lined fabrics.

Coverage: 1US gallon covers approximately 250 square
feet; dependant on specie, porosity and moisture content
of wood.

Applicator: Brush, roller, or dipping. Dipping is most
effective. Dip for 3 to 5 minutes for heavy lumber. Longer
time periods may be necessary for dense wood. By brush
and roller apply two liberal coats. Dries in 2 to 4 hours
prior to handling. Wood can be stained once thoroughly dry.
